Not
many people survive the culture shock,
let
alone the practicalities of living without the National Grid
so, WHEN all the planet's resources have been totally
squandered, society collapses - just like the Roman Empire
but even more spectacularly.
Suddenly
the survivors of these embittered times realise that the GREED
and SELFISHNESS of our SHORTSIGHTED World Leaders, both political
and financial varieties - who've never heard of the word
"sustainable" that included a time span longer than
their own life times - who could have chosen a better
way. Why Should They have?
We vote for/buy stuff that is in OUR best interest. People-Power
has never been so lame - We're all CONSUMER's. We're driving
our MP's and CEO's to kill planet Earth because we MUSTHAVE
the latest, biggest, flashiest, most trendiest consumable
we can afford - which IS OUR FAULT! Millions of us - like
a single virus to die for!
China's
next in this Mass-Geo-Hypnosis, trapped in their own race
to become rich. Surely the Death-Nail for us all. Why can't
we all want to be like Sweden who want to be fossil fuel free
by 2020. Bio-fuels, HEP, Solar, Wind, Recycling, Tidal SUSTAINABLE
ENERGIES all WORK.
We
just have to WANT IT!
(for example, I just heard that if we used the Severn
Estuary to generate tidal powered electricity it could provide
up to 10% of the UK's total energy needs! Well
I know one thing for sure, I WANT IT!)
So,
the Western World/America and China are blamed. Climate
change and drought become irreversible whilst, ironically,
coal, oil then gas run dry about the same time (2020-2030).
The planet has been exhausted but the Mighty must survive.
Water is what the scholars predict, will be what the next
war will be about. Without the man power to protect it there
is only one option left...
...scarce
resources mean WWIII ain't pretty - but don't worry
- it'll all be over in a flash (just my opinion).
Few survive. Yet fewer have time to notice what's gone wrong
with the climate. Radiation or
Carbon dioxide from the War or
Atmospheric pollution starts a Nuclear Winter or
Ice Age... which finishes us all either
way.
Basically
the sun is blocked out, (maybe
months, possibly up to 8 years)
then Oxygen becomes the ”Poor
Man's Porsche“ to Carbon Dioxide.

The 'privileged' few live a life of luxury in their expensive
bunkers only to emerge into a ghastly disfigured world where
they soon die... or become a scant population of hideous
mutants, burdened never to enjoy the beautiful World they
once owned, and yet threw away. Only now, they just
have to try to stay alive on a relic of the biggest
betrayal WE COULD EVER IMAGINE.
