Politicians? What's the point!

Today I dutifully watched Countryfile (BBC1) but found the program after, The Politics Show, had a gem of a feature. They posed the question "Do Politicians really mean it when they say the Environment is at the top of their agenda?"
Ironically those not in power, i.e. Conservatives, LibDems and the others have all signed up for this trendy, vote-pulling 'policy' but true to type, the Labour party in power won't sign up for thing. As the old cliché goes "Promises, Promises, Promises!"
I would vote for any Party who weren't in bed with those Auto and Aero, Oil and Nuclear Puppet-Masters - but they ALL are.

Did you know?
The United Kingdom contributes to only 2% of the world's pollution (The Politics Show). Wonder if I can guess who the worst offender is...

So even if we did get all the UK politicians in this country to take the drastic action by taking these 'difficult' decisions (that their huge salaries are intended to promise) - it won't work unless the WHOLE WORLD agrees to do the same. GREAT!

Call me a skeptic
...but it ain't gonna happen in a trillion months of Sunday's... Oops!
